Electric Composters: What Are They and How Do They Work?

What is the Eco-Digester?

Eco-Digester’s high-tech composting equipment turns food into rich, ripe fertilizer within 24 hours or less. It reduces food waste at the source in both mass and volume.

How does it work?

Accelerates the fermentation
Depending on the quality of the organic waste you put into the composter, it will take between three and 24 hours to process it into compost. Once inserted in the tank, the temperature is raised to approximately 160°F, activating microorganisms that bloom and consume the waste. The raw organic waste is reduced to as much as 10% of its initial volume under the action of an accelerated thermophilic and aerobic fermentation.
Three motors do all the work
  1. The first motor draws in oxygen to feed the aerobic process
  2. The Second motor churns the waste to help break it down.
  3. The third motor exhausts the air.
What can go in the Eco Digester?
