Take Shorter Showers

Did you know that showers are the third largest indoor use of water? The average American family uses 40 gallons of water per day in the shower. 
 
While you can get more efficient heads, the standard shower head uses 2.5 gallons of water a minute.  
 
Reducing your shower time by only 2 minutes can save up to 5 gallons of water! 
 
 
You can also save water is by keeping a bucket to collect the water while the shower is heating up and use that to water plants or showering less frequently but do what feels right for you! 🪣
